I'm no statistician, but it seems odd that even if being unrated means abstention rather than 0, some how Love Live is #1 when there's no episode this week.

I can accept GFx2 being near the bottom as romcoms that rely on it's characters sharing collectively half of one brain cell to deliver its humor isn't for everyone, but I just know that something like Rent-A-Girlfriend would be so much higher, and that irks me lmao

This arc is rough on so many level. Villainess #4 showing that even the mildest level of progress is enough to kick the show out of its slump. |

I had legitimately forgotten that this used to be a thing y'all did. Not surprised at all by the series at the top, this season isn't particularly strong outside of that top few.

Thanks for bringing this feature back. I’d love it if you plotted out the reviewers’ ratings from week to week, also — I don’t follow the reviews of series I’m not watching, but if I saw a series being consistently highly rated, I’d start paying attention to the reviews and might start watching the show.

Glad to see this back, but even moreso, I'm delighted to see that the Your Score feature has been updated to include everything, and not just the series that get weekly reviews. Thanks for that!

I like this feature despite it presenting the episodes and series as competing against one another.
I find rankings distasteful, however the fact that these assessments are based upon opinions of viewers makes the list useful if not insightful. I prefer to consider episodes and series in terms of themselves as opposed to how popular they are. I assume however that individual reviewer try to do just that and then the rankings merely compare results over time. I try to consider art, character design as well as personality and psychology, writing, target audience and other context specific aspects for my own 1-10 rating system. Lists like this can help me decide what to watch. As obsessed with anime as I am I still have limited time and the majority of shows don't interest me, but I try to give them a chance. |
