As an ice hockey fan this just looks really really bad. I always hope I'm wrong when I get these feelings but I'm usually right.

We have yet to see a full-fledged trailer of them in an ice hockey match.so I'd imagine they're pulling an Uma Musume with its seemingly idol elements but more sport action. |

The character designs screams idols and Love Live, other than that, it could turn out ok, but I know most people aren't going to be watching this for the hockey. |

I've seen 2 very short trailers of this one and neither of them had any sound whatsoever. First I thought it's my computer but then I checked other videos and there were no problems. Otherwise the animation looked okay. I hope that doesn't spell any trouble, because I'm actually interested in this one.

While I am cautiously excited for the series, at least it is getting a bit of attention.
It is unlikely to be Cramer, but I will give it a shot when it airs. |

A cute girls playing hockey anime could be great, but if they're going to cram idol aspects into it this definitely isn't going to be.

Add in Love Live. Hell... Manaka = Honoka/Chika Yu = Umi Ayaka = Ako Riko = Hagumi Naomi = Rimi Kaoruko = Saya Mami is the only one of the main 7 I cant pin down (kinda looks Love Live-ish), but Juri is a dead ringer for Moca, maybe with shorter hair |

That was my thought. The designs are kind of generic, imo. Especially since Manaka is basically a dead ringer for Honoka or Chika. I'd love a proper "girls do ice hockey" anime, but I don't know if this will be it. |

they kinda arent. Generic I would accept. Seeing the promo pic I dead set thought it was a Love Live collab, especially with their outfits and way too many similarities |
