Sounds interesting. I might check it out. By the way, this is the manga that Kenta Shinohara's Astra: Lost In Space is somewhat based on. They even have a lot of similarities in terms of character archetypes and storylines.

Yes, having only seen the They Were 11 movie, Astra: Lost in Space seemed like an homage. |

Yay! I have the old Viz monthly comics and the DVD put out already, but I'm quite excited to get this one. Never read the sequel series and I'm happy to support more Hagio manga coming out in English.

Four Shoujo Stories was the first manga I ever bought as a teen, and Moto Hagio is my fave, so this is great. I am disappointed that they won't be using Rachel Thorn's perfect translation and she hasn't been contacted to translated the sequel (which I've read in french--it's great, a bit more serious). Also, since this is copying the beautiful anniversary edition from Japan it won't have the 32 pages of comic strips set in between the two at the space academy, Space Street (they confirmed this on Twitter) which is too bad.
