Me & my friend was watching this short & I've told him all of the accurate locations of Tokyo as well as references to classic anime such as AKIRA!

so this was the "Special anime short" ? Ugh... Adult Swim/Toonami just keeps letting anime fans down. Western cartoon fans I'm sure this is a big treat

I was a bit "meh" over the initial idea of another Rick & Morty anime short, but I liked the first one that was done by Studio DEEN, so I figured I'd might like this one.
... Turns out I was right. It was pretty fun! And kinda an interesting lead-in to the finale of Paranoia Agent, personally.

I was kinda pissed about this being the "special" of the night but I was happy to see that apparently Sano is actually an actual R&M fan which makes it feel more legit and less like a simple commission work.

Well it was teased in the Toonami Adult Swim Con Commercial and we could definitely tell it was Rick & Morty related.

This was boring and has none of the qualities that make Ricky and Marty what it is. DEEN made a better short. That is unbelievable.

I enjoyed this. It's fun seeing another take/style on an existing franchise. Like those anthology manga volumes featuring a variety of artists original stories for an existing franchise.
