Is Laid-Back Camp really Eisner-worthy material? I haven't read any of it, but it seems like a curious pick.

I'll be pulling for Tokyo Tarareba Girls, but betting that the prize will be taken by a different work.

It's a real stand-out title, and I can see why it might appeal to the judges' tastes even if they don't normally enjoy afterschool girls' club titles. I'm personally hoping Dead Dead Demon's DeDeDeDeDestruction wins, though, as it's one of my favorites from the past few years, and in many ways feels like a contemporary equivalent of something like 20th Century Boys.

Laid Back Camp was my favorite anime of 2018 so I'm happy to see the manga nominated.
