How exciting! I've been hoping to see something new from Takahashi since Yugioh ended, looking forward to seeing what he comes up with.

I kind of expected Kaz to make a series based on those artworks he releases on his instagram, especially the one that looked like Kaiba.
Quote: | The series will center on the rookie manga creator Genkō and his secret. |
I wonder what it could be. Maybe Genko finds a magic pen that contains the spirit of a master artist and storyteller? Then the story of the series changed to Monogatari-Oh!
I kid. I'm looking forward to it.

The only thing that the guy makes me think of YGO is his hair. It looks like Shark's. And I'm sure Takahashi didn't design Shark.

It reminded me of Jounouchi's hairstyle at the beginning of the Yugioh manga, but more refined.

I believe he said he did the designs for Yuma, Shark, Anna, and I want to say Tetsuo in the Duel Art book. He usually does the main protagonist's design each series, and few side characters, at least up until Zexal. The art book came out before ARC-V aired so there's no official word if he worked in the designs for ARC-V and VRAINS.

Never enough Takahashi series. I liked Drump but I'm especially excited for a non-gaming series by him. Too bad it's another short series, but at least it beats another one-shot.

Naohito Miyoshi, the artist of the Zexal and ARC-V mangas, did the character designs for ARC-V. And Kenichi Hara is the character designer for VRAINS.
