They should have made a game similar to SDGO but with full sized Mobile Suits

This years TGS will be a make or break for Gundam games, if Bamco does not announce anything or Gundam on consoles outside of Battle Operation, then we know the games are dead and are going to mobile only. It's a shame though, if they only delayed the game for 5-6 more months, this wouldn't have happened because that beta was a nightmare to play.

The new battle operation game is a pretty big deal though. Unless it just tanks, that will keep a lot of console gundam fans around. They're also releasing EXVS 2 this year, and the Vs series is still one of the most popular arcade franchises so I don't think that is going away any time soon either. I'm not expecting too much at TGS for future gundam games given proximity to these two games. |

The same studio as the original three, Crafts & Meister. They probably got hit by the realities of having to make a PS4 game at the same budget they did on lower spec hardware. Same thing seems to have happened with Gundam Versus. |

Who's ready for this poor reception to be an excuse to stop localizing Gundam games in the west? I wouldn't put something like that past Bamco.

Most mecha games have been subbed in English over in Asia as of late so it's really no biggie either way just a few dollars more expensive cause of the shipping and tax. Also they haven't released a Gundam game since I think Dynasty Warriors Gundam 3? |

Bandai Namco releases plenty of shovelware in the west. In fact, I'd be willing to bet that most of their upcoming anime games will receive poor reviews. They only care if it sells well. If it doesn't, oh well. Go back to importing the English Bandai Namco Asia releases. They're not releasing Vita games anymore, so you don't even have to worry about DLC issues. Bandai Namco only dubs Dragon Ball and Naruto games, so you wouldn't be missing out on that either.
They've since released Dynasty Warriors Gundam Reborn*, Gundam Extreme Vs. Force and Gundam Versus in the west. *This was digital-only, didn't feature a dub or comprehensive subtitles and for some inexplicable reason, skipped the Vita version. |

I never really understood why they didn't tie-in the Build Fighters characters to these games. Seems like a pretty logical step but Bandai Namco isn't exactly known for logic.

It's probably more than just that considering it can't even run properly. See: https://twitter.com/LordDearche/status/1010785206624645120?s=19 |

I'd agree if it was just technical issues but everything about the design is a step down from the previous three for no clear reason. |
