Did he miss it? Was it not inflated properly to break the fall? Did he land wrong and break his neck? Details man. This is tragic tho.

and people said these days any show or movie uses more CGI or green screen for an action scene instead of an actual stunt preformed by stunt actors, still, condolences to his family and friends.

I haven't watched those recent series. Still very unfortunate to lose anyone involved, especially someone so young.

I wish we can have exact details too. 21 is a very young age to die at. RIP and my condolences to his family and friends.

RIP. On a more serious note, if I was the director, I don't care if you are the most-experienced stunt double, a stunt like this is much safer using CGI.

One of the things that this article overlooked was that Nobe was performing yearly training exercises, ones that he seemed to have done with no issue before in the past, so this wasn't filmed for any particular show. Either he somehow flubbed the fall really badly, or somehow the correct safety precautions were not in place. (http://tokusatsunetwork.com/2018/06/kamen-rider-build-action-crew-member-dies/)

Also, JAE released a statement, if anyone's interested in reading. (http://tokusatsunetwork.com/2018/06/yasuyuki-maekawa-shoichi-isurugis-actor-and-jae-release-statements-following-daichi-nobes-death/)

Sad to hear.

Every stunt is safer using CGI so that's not a metric imo. Thousands of shows and movies with real stunts in them get filmed every year with no death. Stunt men probably have a higher chance of dying in a car wreck on the way to and from the job than actually dying on the job.

I wouldn't kill the art form just because it's not impossible for there to be an accident.
