I sometimes wish there was an anime radio program out there. right now i listen to a few that play anime music 24/7 on www.live365.com and they are quite good playing, alien 9, inuyasha, Lain, Evangelion, GTO and stuff. Anyone ever thought about this or know any? i dont really mean just music but lots of talking and discussion of anime with directors etc.

Yea, a anime radio program would be real nice. I'm sure there would be plenty who would listen to it. I know i would. But the question is how many people would listen to it and if it would be enough to keep it running.

There is an anime radio show on a college station around where I live. Though they are not specifically anime, they specialize in any music that comes from Japan. A few weeks ago, they had an interview with the bands Guitar Wolf and Goggle A. Further information can be found at their website...http://www.nipponmusicchamp.com

Japan-A-Radio (http://www.japanaradio.com) is a station dedicated to J-pop/Anime. It's a decent blend of stuff. Porno Grafitti is currently playing at this time. There is also a block where they play just anime songs on certain days(see program schedule). Sadly, heir message board kind of indcates that they are having financial trouble at this time and are asking for donations.

At my college, they also have an anime block on the local rado. The only problem is it's on at 4 a.m. I quess it was the only free time

There are Adventures in Anime Music and Anime in the Limelight, both which will air on Toon Radio. AiAM is already playign Sunday and Thursdya nights. AitL joins the crew Saturday at 6:30 PM EST.
Toon Radio itself isn't that bad either. A graceful blend of American and Japanese music. |

Not at them moment. I tried to put Toon Radio on it, but there requirements are way too steep. |

Japan-A-Radio is talking to XM and Sirius right now as far as I know. maybe soon. |

That'd be cool if that were to get that on XM, but then again, I could just listen to it on the internet, but, either way, having anime radio stuffs is awsome!

Woot Anime Radio (Check under "Anime Stations" topic for link.) that has a program on Friday's called "Woot Anime Live". I'm not running the station right now, but I hope the co-owner is still doing them.
