Thank god, I was starting to worry that we'd never see Tsukamoto be a starter and who knows even captain.

Great! I've been really been enjoying the series. Kinda sad that it no longer has episode reviews though.

Well, at least they can get revenge against Saku High in the sequel.

Wow, wasn't expecting this. Did the manga get a significant sales boost or something? As much as I criticize this show, it's been improving ever since the camp arc where Tsukamoto finally figured out his role in the team, and the point where the first season is leaving off doesn't quite work as an ending, since the team is still one match away from nationals. I hope the second one has a more satisfying conclusion.

If it is another season and not another OVA then I hope it contains more actual football at decent quality, was lacking badly in season 1. Significantly less Tsukamoto would not go amiss either as he dragged this series down a lot for me. He is insufferable, that's the kindest I can put it.

I admit I may be ruffling a few feathers here but I wonder something. Are they going to encounter an American soccer team? And if they do,do they have immigrants on the team? If there is going to be an American team in this,I just hope that they're going to be nice guys or most of them are. I'd like that.
