Awesome!
I really like your Protoculture Addict guys! However, I end up buying them at conventions mostly.
I have a question though ~ why is it that the Canadian and the USA prices are the same? Isn't the Canadian dollar higher than the USD right now?
But regardless, I'll be purchasing this one soon ^__^

From what I've heard, the value of the U.S. dollar has been dropping lately. Maybe that's why the prices are the same.

Actually, the prices are the same because PA is printed in Canada. So it costs more money to ship across the border, and the dollar difference (used to) makes up for it. It's been the same price for CDN and USD since I started buying them, one issue before they went full colour, however long ago that was. Right now, the dollar is about even, in favor of the CDN, so there may theoretically be a price increase in store for the US price.
I was in Chapters on Monday, and I saw PA there, wondered where my copy was, went home, and found it in my mailbox.

Traditionally comics & magazine always have a higher Canadian price because most comics & magazine are being produced in the USA and it cost more to export them to Canada.
Since PA is produced in Canada, it cost more to export it to the USA but, until recently, the higher US $ was compensating for this cost. Of course, now it is a different story with the CND $ being higher. However, the cover price is likely the stay the same both in US and Canada for the moment. For now we will compensate by adjusting production cost.

Everybody should buy this issue of PA because there is a probably terrible picture of me in it.
That is all.

Since they're talking about La Corda, that might mean it has a chance of being licensed!

I'm hoping to get my copy in the mail soon.
Even though I haven't watched my Beck DVDs yet, I'm looking forward to reading the Greg Ayers/Brina Palencia interview.

I just got my copy in the mail yesterday, and it looks great. One part I've already pored over was my feature on the Air TV series (which everyone needs to read and tell me how awesome it is ), but the artwork, layout, and everything on that article was so top notch it blew me away, and the rest of the mag, at first blush, looks just as good. The overall design seriously gets better and better with each ish.
I can't wait to read the cover feature on School Rumble, either. And I'm quite proud at how many of the referenced shonen romance series and the top 10 "mecha series you haven't seen" I've seen already.
