Just in case people were wondering what the sole purpose of this show actually was. I guess this is this industries next big gimmick it's committed itself to along with random live action adaptations and multimedia projects for franchises that don't go anywhere. I miss when making an actually good show to watch with characters that weren't annoying as hell beyond their surface appearances actually seemed to be a priority. Maybe I was just deluding myself I don't know, just seems to be a lot more merchandising and overpriced goods marketing gimmickry in this industry and less actual quality television than ever before.

I understand the part about the industry being about "selling out", but I don't see anything tied to the article announcing a live action adaptation being proposed, all I am seeing is an article of some sort of media promotion tour with a "life sized scale model" of the lead girl. |

I've no doubt that this figure of Munmei will look gorgeous when it's all done.

That's because you're not interpreting what I'm saying properly. |

If this went up for auction on eBay I would bid on it.

Sweet although I seriously doubt that Kabaneri will get it's own attraction at Universal Studios Japan like Attack on Titan did this is still a nice life-size figure of Mumei.

Eh, the scale's cool and all, but I find that "life size" figures tend to really suffer on the paint job. I don't know if it's just 'because most figure painters are used to smaller-scale projects or what, but tor me, it usually turns out pretty garish. :/

Kinda agree on this one. Not to mention, when the figure is blown-up, the level of detail usually remains about the same and the sculpting can kind of come across as rather plain and simple. |
