Another Evangelion short? *sigh* Not that I disliked the two previous ones, but I'd much prefer to see original ones instead.

Yeah, yeah. This is great and all, but where's the fourth movie? Did they cancel the reboot altogether because of negative feedback from the third?

dont think so, aside from the change of name, there haven't been changes to that pink elephant.. i mean, movie.

no one knows. the last thing was the utada hikaru news back in july but you cant even consider that more than a rumor and we only have the less than 5 seconds of "black shinji" in one of the shorts to give us faith..

Anno doesn't give a shit about making another Evangelion movie. It just ain't happening. It's like James Cameron with Angel Alita. Both of these men are taking their fans for a ride, and what a ride. Laughing

I don't think it's actually cancelled, but I heard that Anno fell into a depression after the reception of the third movie, and hasn't really even worked on the 4th movie so far. Probably what's held back the 3.0 dub because I think he has to approve it and I heard he didn't even go to the studio at all in 2013. It's kind of sad. I really, really liked 3.0 and even if we do get 4.0 it's going to be influenced by fan reaction. I like Anno when he doesn't care what people think and just goes crazy, but it looks like that's done now.

Isn't it sad that a show that was basically anti-anime fans is now getting spinoff videos that are basically pandering to current anime fans?

Animator Expo plot descriptions often have wonky English.

cameron and anno? thats a pretty retarded comparison. cameron purchased the rights to a tittle he has DONE ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WITH. where-as anno has delivered 3 movies so far.... its better than what cameron has done.

"Anno doesn't give a shit about making another Evangelion movie."

please go spread your misinformation elsewhere troll, and pull your head out of your ass while you're at it, it doesn't let you read minds or predict the future.

It seems that Evangelion 4.0 must be taking way longer to make than Mr. Anno-san expected.

Oh well, I think Neon Genesis Impacts could turn out to be a thrilling spin-off. Smile

Just like how Miyazaki's movies that promote anti-materialism and consumerism are selling Totoro plushies by the billions? The irony, right? How sad it is for artists' works to get so popular.

Well, this is a joke, right? Contrasting the setting of 2015 from the 1995 TV series with the reality of 2015? The idea of Nico Nico Douga in Eva made me laugh for sure.

People taking it a bit too seriously?

I never thought about that. I guess that's kinda clever. I think the best-case scenario for this is for it to be a parody or criticism of some kind. I doubt that will happen though.

Hideaki Anno needs to hurry up and finish Godzilla and Evangelion 4 so he can make that Nausicaa film Hayao Miyazaki was talking about.
