I'm curious to see the dub version of Prison School the most. The first episode aired today imo and was pretty amusing.

If those three titles are going to be their "prime time" broadcast dubs for this season, I am surprised that Snow White with the Red Hair is not among them. To me Snow White is Funimation's best pick up from Summer 2015.

Speaking of Prison School, it would be cool if the broadcast dub version was uncensored.

technically.. (without revealing any story related info)

Nicolas is a mercenary (they showed his tag in episode 1) --- a deaf with speech impairment character

Alex is a former prostitute

Worick-- well... he has the same job as Aex when he's not out doing delivery or killing people

the problem would be finding someone who is good at voice acting who can fill these roles

i don't want Nicolas or Worick sounded like some teenagers who lived a sheltered live..

but either way...

I just noticed Funi didn't get Dragonball Super *facepalms*. I'm amazed at their skills of missing that hype train...it would've been a hit as a broadcast dub.

Everything I've heard points to Toei being the ones not open for any negotiations regarding Dragonball Super. If Funimation could have gotten Dragonball Super they most certainly would have and I imagine it would have been a broadcast dub.

The fact that Dragonball Super is not available ANYWHERE outside of Japan, via ANY streaming company, points to Toei being stingy in this case. I'm betting Funi will leap on that one as soon as Toei lets them.

Toei is probably shooting themselves in the foot, there.....if we can't watch it legally, then what other option do we have besides piracy?

I'm excited to see the English versions of Sky Wizards Academy and Prison School. They seem to be comical in differing ways, so I'm sure I'll enjoy both these shows without a problem. Smile

My exact thoughts. They did a dub for Yona of the Dawn so why not another shoujo anime with a likable female protagonist. Also, this is a BONES anime so Funi typically puts their A game for dubbing those titles. Hopefully, if Snow White gets enough feedback, Funi will release the series for DVD/BD next year.

Looking forward to the Gangsta. dub.

My guess is these are the 3 "primetime" shows. You know like the ones that they will be talking about and reviewing on Dubbletalk while they till have other Broadcast dubs to announce

Yeah, you're probably right. Since BBB is on hiatus until further announcements *sobs*, and season 1 of Seraph of the End & Assassination Classroom dub will end soon, they probably choose these three expecting some immediate feedback. Hoping that Snow White dub will be added on later or at least licensed down the road. I'm only watching Gangsta. out of the three so I can't tell if the other too will be a "hit" on DubbleTalk.

Gangsta. seems like the type of show that would work really well dubbed. I hope they do a good job with it.
