This is great news! I've been waiting (im)patiently for some sort of Wii freeloader to come out so I could play Bleach Wii, but now the wait is over! *ear shattering fan girl scream*
It's cool that the DS game will get localized too. I imported it a year ago, and it's a solid fighter. Now should I give up hope on the PS2 Bleach games ever releasing stateside...

I was hoping the Wii game would come Stateside too. For a fighting game with the wiimote, button-mashing is replaced by flailing, haha.

yay! could this mean other anime based games could come over?
i know the show has to be poular to get pulled over but it'd still be nice. Can't wait to pick this one up! |

Oh, and speaking of anime-related gaming news, Blue Dragon is out on Aug. 28. I sent the news story to ANN a while back, but they haven't posted it.

Well, besides MASSIVE SPOILERS for the fans of the viz dub, I wonder when these games come out.
It looks like it will be a direct localization of Hakujin Kirameku Rondo and Bleach DS: Souten ni Kakeru Unmei. I think that they should've just went with DS 2nd (although I like the 1st better) because it has more characters, a longer story mode, and a better wifi mode. |

Only the Wii game should have spoilers. The DS game will be released around the same episode as it was released in Japan.

Rukia's Shikai was a spoiler in the DS game (it wasn't revealed in the anime when the Japanese game came out) |

I'll probably get the DS game, assuming its a good game. It shouldn't be too difficult to convince my brother to get the Wii game.

Odd.
Just in time for the second season? Isn't the Wii game based more or less off the manga, ala Arrancar? Don't tell me they'll replace Ulquiorra and Grimmjow with Jin or Koga. : < |

Ok,I wonder if SEGA had to get any rights from Viz to release these games, because if not, I don't know why Sony Computer Entertainment America hasn't released the SCEJ Bleach games yet.
