I admit that a lot of people (including the mods) take a very dim view of necroposting. Me,I don't really have a problem with it. If you want to add something to one of my older posts,go right ahead. I don't have a problem with it. Just make sure it has something to do with the topic at hand and not something stupid or I'll ask the mods to get rid of it immediately.
I know that the higher ups are afraid of something going wrong or something but with me,I don't mind and I hope that everyone, including the mods understand how I feel about it. Just drop me a PM and I'll run it by the mods and see what they think. I hope they approve of this. |

Snowmaster1,
Do not for a moment kid yourself that reviving your long-dead threads will be permitted. This thread will suffer a similar fate, ie I'm locking it. |

I just wanted to add that it's not an even issue of whether or not the mods have a dim view of necroposting. It's part of the rules here that it is not allowed. So regardless of what any single moderator might think, and I would imagine if you asked all of us our opinions some would vary, on the subject it's a rule here that it's not allowed. Plus there is nothing stopping you from creating a new thread on whatever the subject may be. Provided the new thread follows the rules.
