You welcome ANN. Yeah when I heard about this I was so surprised to hear a collaboration between Kojima and Del Toro.

Kojima mentioned prior that he wanted to work on a Horror title. I'm nothing but happy for this announcement. More Silent Hill is welcome. Uh, no handhelds please.

I hope Kojima isn't writing it,but it's nice to finally have a true next gen Silent Hill. I did like Downpour but Konami obviously didn't care when publishing it which was a shame since the game was a real improvement over that joke Homecoming.

Closer inspection of the article says "Silent Hills". It might be just a side project and not a solid title. Pun intended.

I have low expectations for this. Silent Hill has been terrible ever since westerners took over the franchise. They couldn't even keep Akira Yamaoka for Downpour, which is unacceptable. Kojima's name gives some hope, but I'm not going to expect much until I see it.

It really says a lot when a franchise that was once considered the pinnacle of horror gaming is reduced to using an actor from the Walking Dead series to generate hype.

Downpour was what it was. I fortunately have a 3DTV and it was a nice little 3D title that had it's scares but far from what Silent Hill really is. I feel Homecoming was much weaker than Downpour.

The "PT" demo is some really impressive stuff if its representative of the stuff they're going with the main game's atmosphere. Classic Silent Hill but at the same time very different,

It was obvious with Homecoming that devs only experience with Silent Hill was the movie since mostly everything from that was in the game. The one positive though was the monster design which was solid and which is what Downpour really suffered from.

Those are some big names.
I can only hope the story can reach at least downpour level of existential dread.

Can't argue with a hall full of nurses. Downpour was definitely lacking with those 3 enemy types.
