My most hyped show of the season, possibly of the year... Hope it turns out well. But I'm surprised that a lot of these series that would do quite well in the US aren't being picked up by licensors... I hope it gets picked up soon!

Are Matheus Caraway and Alberic Gillette supposed to look identical or is that the same character art being posted twice?

Hmm despite the age difference I hope that this will turn out to be a sweet romance/drama/fantasy action anime. I was going to skip watching any shows week to week this season but this has my attention..

It seems like a good fit for Sentai Filmworks, and they'll probably be announcing licenses until Friday of this week. So I'd say this one has a good chance of getting picked up.
Not sure if it means anything, but I don't think Sentai has ever licensed a Bones title. They mostly go to Funimation or Aniplex.

Sentai has released quite a few BONES series actually. They've released
The Skull Man
Xam'd
Tokyo Magnitude 8.0
No. 6
UN-GO
and The Towa no Quon movies.
It's still less than the 10 or so that Funimation has licensed. But, I could definitely see them picking this show up! (Hopefully with a dub release, because I have a hard time showing my non-anime friends and family, subtitled shows...)

No. 6, Un-Go, Xam'd: Lost Memories, The Skull Man & Towanoquon would beg to differ.
That being said, it doesn't matter who does the Animation Production of a series, what matters is who holds the international rights for international sales.
And in the case of Chaika - The Coffin Princess that would be Kadokawa.
Seeing as how there's only 1 Kadokawa series from this season on CR currently (they still have more to announce), there's a relatively good chance it'll be a Sentai title.
