Hmm the sola anime was good but not great compare to other Key works but he if helped write Kanon too than there's potential.

Hisaya wrote Ayu's, Nayuki's and Shiori's routes of original Kanon VN while Jun Maeda wrote Mai's and Makoto's if someone interested.

Those routes written by Maede are my favorite, while the others are my less liked. So, the writer's pedigree isn't the highest recommendation it could be. Still, this show looks interesting. |

Ayu's route is my favorite too.
Especially how the game handled it. And as an original project, I'm having some hopes for this one. |
