Square, just make 3 instead of the umpteenth remake and it's good.
Also, Star Wars and/or the Avengers. Do that, shut up and take my money. Put some POS like Robin Hood instead, I'm sitting out till there's a major discount.

I wish they would dig into their animated series as I would love worlds based on Kim Possible, Gargoyles, and Darkwing Duck.

Disney movies are what's known in Japan, not the TV series.

Considering that the ReMIX compilations a) have content that has never been released outside of Japan, and b) that the games after those points assume you know all about said content, I'm glad they're doing this. Bothered me a lot in 3D when it expected me to know the BBS:FM content.

Part 1: oh HELL no
Part 2: I hope they put in Robin Hood, it's one of my favorite Disney films, and so easy to translate into the game's universe/story.

Indeed, the KH remasters are neat. Including the Final Mix versions that have never made it to the US, redone OSTs (which many remasters from other franchises can not boast), and coming in collection.
Kingdom Hearts III has been announced, so I don't even understand what there is to complain about.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is on the way to PS4 and XBone. DID you NOT read the entire article?

I did, but the survey was focusing primarily on 1.5 and 2.5.
Also, compared to the idea of a Hulk summon, Robin Hood kinda sorta REALLY sucks.

For new Disney worlds to visit, I would love to see Tangled, Wreck It Ralph, and most of all, Frozen getting in on the action and since Pixar isn't involved yet, get them all in there too but especially The Incredbles!
Also, since Disney now owns Marvel and Star Wars, bring those two in as well! Since Pirates of the Carribean and Tron are added into the last game, it isn't very jarring to see realistic looking characters being involved in something like Kingdom Hearts.

Of course we'd all want Marvel and Star Wars, but Disney themselves said it wasn't possible at this time. I thought Nomura wouldn't have been interested in even considering it, but according to a past interview, he was quick to ask because he's a big fan himself...

And my respect for Nomura jumped up several notches.

Also...we HAVE Marvel and SW games. Please, in the name of fanhood dignity, get your mind off of the "Wow, Disney's acquired so MUCH!" neato headlines, focus on the story, and if you want SW and Marvel games that badly, go play Ultimate Alliance and Old Republic. Or get the Lego games and play both.
It's the Disney universes, which means King Mickey never met Phineas & Ferb.

*punch!!*
ANYWAY:
Keep your eyes on the limitations that we're getting the JAPANESE version of Disney....Cinderella, Belle, lots of talk of "hearts" and "dreams", etc., and not much Pixar, as they don't really know what to make of The Incredibles as much as we do.
Case in point, I'd love to get a Wreck-It Ralph world, but considering it was titled "Sugar Rush" in Japan, I have a feeling I know what we'd get.
(And as for Frozen, dear lord, we're guaranteed to get it anyway, Japan or not.)
And do you realize how weird it is coming from my generation to hear people say they LIKE Robin Hood?
I'm from the generation where it opened in theaters, I didn't grow up hypnotized by it being one of the only animateds you could watch on VCR or Disney Channel...But then, post-box-office revisionism never bothered the game putting Hercules as a running character in the series, either.

Realism isn't the problem, it's the fact they're originally non-Disney properties. Pirates was a ride at Disney Land and Tron was always a Disney movie franchise, just live-action. Disney might own Marvel and Star Wars now but they're not Disney characters in the traditional sense. But I don't really care what Disney movies they put in next either way. I dislike modern Disney movies and the Disney side of the game has always been pretty much filler to pad out the plot elements of the game. The main story revolves around the Square-Enix characters, not finding Honey for Winnie the Pooh or singing in a band with Ariel. Those are pretty much filler episodes in a TV series.
Besides, I'd rather have Lightning join my party than Anakin Skywalker or Captain America if we're picking favorites

Considering how much I hate Lightning, I'm biased, but having Sora in the scene from the Avengers where the team is surrounded by an entire army of Chiutari would be nothing short of awesome.
That being said, yes, the Disney elements are the backdrops to the leads. Which is why I think The Avengers makes a much better backdrop than Robin Hood.

Oh god. They will force Lightning into KH won't they?. Jesus Christ Square, just stop it. Stop ramming that pos character down people's throats.
And whatever they do, I sure hope its more Disney or Disney related stuff. The actual Square stuff is the worst part of these games and needs to be cut down.
But stuff like Tangled and Forzen would be a nice addition.
