As a long-time Harvest Moon fan, I'm glad to see the new one take the top spot! Hopefully it gets released here soon (and has slightly fewer translation errors than the previous one)! Very Happy

Valhalla Knights' popularity continues to baffle me. *shrug*

It's so tantalizing to see Dragon Quest Monsters 2 on that list and know that it'll never be brought to the U.S. Someday, we'll all know why DQ games never sell well in the States. Until then...

The fact that the series keeps having installments is what baffles me. Who keeps buying these games that seem to lack personality and quality.

Seems like the most unremarkable long running series.

Anyway, yeah the PS4 of course dropped. Don't see it getting better with it's pretty mediocre software lineup for the rest of the year quite honestly.

No it's not, but this is also an expanded edition re-release. I don't know what the original 3 did.

Agreed, and I bought Shintenchi on release day. I am playing it right now...

Though I really wish that a new console Harvest Moon would be released... I love Harvest Moon for the PS, Save the Homeland, Magical Melody, Tree of Tranquility, and Animal Parade. :3 The DS and 3DS versions are just missing something...

http://www.siliconera.com/2013/05/27/marvelous-aql-move-65000-copies-of-valhalla-knights-3/ says the previous version of VK3 sold 65K copies.

Again, the propagation of this franchise just astounds me.

Is there any chart which covers Japan's Video Game Rankings further than this? What I mean is, like, a Top 30 or a Top 50 chart?

I really need a list like that.
