This is a day one purchase for me hands down. Not only are these the two best kingdom hearts games in the series IMO, they are the final remixes that have even more content. I'm very hyped for this remaster.

I'm still trying to make my way through KH1 Final Mix, but I may still pick this one up anyway. IMO, not having to play the lousy DS games to get the whole story is worth the price of admission.

Not a big KH fan at all.
That said I enjoyed KH2 because it's flashy and the combat was decent. The combat in KH1 always felt slow and clunky to me.
BBS though is a really good action rpg. Would be nice to play it with even better controls.

So you still need 358/2 Days, or at least watch the cutscenes. Not that I'm complaining about that, it just gets really convoluted with all these releases.

I DO like KH, and will admit that KH1 was slow, clunky, and had worlds (Tarzan, Alice, Pinocchio) that rambled on too far without being particularly involving.
KH2, however, rocked. (And not just for the Tron segment.)
Never did get to play Birth By Sleep, so I'll have to trade in my old PS2 KH2 for this one--
Rumor has it that the upcoming KH3 for the PS4 will be themed to worlds of Disneyland, not Disney movies , so enjoy the classics while you can.

358/2 Days' cutscenes (including newly rendered cutscenes to replace stiff, DS-graphic cutscenes so that none of the story was missing) were released in the first 1.5 Remix. After both remixes, Dream Drop Distance will be the only one to not be on the PS3, since it's 3DS. But since it's HD, I doubt we'll see it off the 3DS, at least for some time. It's definitely worth a play, though. It's kinda like BBS in that it's a great game, but it's somewhat better in that the 3DS is actually a healthy system (unlike the PSP, after BBS came out, despite it being a top-selling PSP game).

The trailers have shown us some gameplay that involved Disneyland ride-themed moves, but the worlds themselves will be classic Disney, as usual. You do not have to worry about this as it is one of the selling points of Kingdom Hearts.

I don't have a PS3 or PS4, but I look forward to this just for the redone and orchestral OST. KHII and BBS have my favorite soundtracks of the whole series.

No. It's just the summons that are Disney World themed. In one of the trailers, they're fighting one of the Titans from "Hercules" using the ride summons, so at least Olympus Coliseum is a world.

KH2 is my favorite Kingdom Hearts game. I actually bought the Japanese only KH2: Final Mix+ because I loved it.
Never got a chance to play Birth By Sleep, so I'm glad I'll get the chance...
...Can't wait to have this remix.

(Good, didn't want it to turn into Epic Mickey on us...
Although I still like having Chicken Little and Bambi as summoning creatures.)

Yup, KH 1.5 for PS3 came out in September.

Are you saying that KH3D, a 3DS(a console that has a resolution of 240p) game, is HD? If so, you are wrong. Also, when the 3D slider is in effect, the game does look like its HD, but it is not. Square does use the console to its highest capabilities as shown with (for example) KH2 and BBS(which look better than other games released on said console).

Played and beat 5 times total. Final Mix included. It's my favorite KH game. =P
And no, the Disneyland moves AREN'T SUMMONS! They're an evolution of Flow Motion from DDD. It's called "Attraction Flow."

Oh, sorry. I actually didn't mean to call it "HD." I meant to say it was current-gen. I interchange the two words a lot, even though they're not that inter-changeable.
And I disagree. KH:DDD is the best looking and working 3DS game I know on the system to date. At least, of the games I have. =P
