My only issue with this set is the box art. I was lucky enough to be able to get the original sets when they 1st released a few years ago.

These are masters from Sunrise, so it's about the best picture quality you're gonna get, unless they decide to do a Blu-Ray release over there.

I love this show, and am game with getting these, but I'm holding out just a bit longer for a complete collection. I have the movies though, and plan on getting the OVAs and Flash in time.

Dirty Pair fan represent. Anyone remember Anime Central back in 2004? Like Five guys shouted when a TV/OAV Mugi cosplayer went on stage. lols
I own more dirty pair goods than I should be allowed to, probably. |

Watching the episodes on Manga's YouTube channel coupled with its latter day successor Panty and Stocking has given me a whole new appreciation for it.
If only someone.animated the Adam Warren version. |

a NEW DIRTY PAIR RELEASE???? does this mean Kei and YUri are making a comeback?
as much fun as FLASH was I'd love to see a new take on The DP with todays tech. and I mean PURE DP not their successors like KIddy Grade. and I second an Animated Adam Warren DP. (though His take is a little Out There.) |

And it really isn't that bad - it's just not as good as most people are used to.
There is no limit on the amount of Dirty Pair goodness you may have in your home.

The picture quality is easily top shelf for old-school anime. My only slight qualm is that it is interlaced.

It can always look better with a proper BD. I wish I had waited to watch some shows that are now coming out in HD, like Layzner. The OVA and features for Dirty Pair did look remastered, so hopefully a BD for them isn't too far off in the future.

Definitely a more balanced and fair review than the last one that this site tried to do for Dirty Pair where it was more or less lowballed and given a poor review and score for the reason that it was old.
