Anyone have the Rurouni Kenshin fighter video game? If so, can you post some screenshots of it or link me to somewhere that has them? I think it's called Ishin Gekitouhen.

Ahh, that boring 3-D fighter. Why did I spend the 10 dollars on it, I just don't know. Here, the screen shots are small to make the game look better then what it is. Razz If you are looking to buy this game, get Rurouni Kenshin: Meiji Kenyaku Romantan: Juuyuushi Inbou Hen (Say that three times fast.), a pretty decent RPG.

It looks like Virtual Fighter 2, but it plays like Virtual Slug Fighter 2. You only get to fight the Oniwabashu (a total of 5 people) in story mode, the contrals are slugish, and 75% of Kenshin and Sanosuke blows (atleast with Sanosuke, you get the choice to fight with his sword.) The high points, you get to watch the opening, kind of, of Sobakasu and third ending theme, Heart of Sword, and a bunch of little cut scenes.

ADD ON: I forgot blows. Razz

If no stores carry it, Ebay's the way to go, tho be warned, you might have to pay a bit more than usual.

That's an overstatement. If you do see it on Ebay, it's 95% chance a bootleg.

If you don't want to play it, you can download guides and such to them at www.gamefaqs.com. That's what I do for a lot of import games to figure out if they are worth importing. It's also where I found out they had an Evangelion game on N64 that featured FMVs (Remember now, N64 was on carts, so it took forever for them to do FMVs on that system, and when they did the system was already dead, I have the only American N64 game with FMVs to prove it).

You mean GameStop had the FMV's. GameFaq don't carry any trailers or music files. Plus, either A) It was a patched ROM on a cart AKA: Bootleg or B) Hot air rises. Evangelion for the N64 never came out in the States or I'm pretty sure there was no English translation on the cart. Put yeah, they do carry FAQs for all the Playstation Kenshin games, including some pretty close translation of the menus and whatnot.

Of course GameFaqs dosen't have trailers or anything. I downloaded a guide to the game by someone who played through the game on a mod chipped-N64, and although he would not have had a clue about what was going on had he not have just seen the EVA anime, it said that there was a really short intro FMV to the game at the beginning of the guide.
