mmm I'ma new to this forum but I've always used this site to find info on anime etc etc. I'm want everyones suggestion on great anime. I've seen Ah! My Goddess Megami sama[1st season] & currently awaiting the completion of Sorezore no Tsubasa[2nd season of course], Chobits, Ghost in the Shell 1st and 2nd gig, Gungrave which stands between good and soso more on the good side and of course Samurai Champloo. Now I'm no new comer to anime, I have a pretty massive collection myself 300 gigs worth and counting. From the classics berserk, Gasaraki, Gundam series, Macross,Lodoss War, Cowboy Bebop[CLASSIC] to the not so old. GunXsword, Full Metal, Last Exile, Wolf's Rain, Read or Die etc etc the list goes on forever... I have too much anime and media on my computer. So what I'm getting at is share your thoughts on good anime, series and movies that you recommand.

yeah I already have alot of them on DVDs already, can't buy them all on DVD or else i'll go broke.

Welcome to the forums.
Please read Teh Rules if you haven't already. 2 notable ones I recommend you pay attention to are #3 and #10. #3 implies that you try to make your posts/threads as detailed as possible for the best quality of discussion. It's nice that you want to talk about your and other peoples' favorite anime, but please try to be more specific. Pick a particular title you think deserves the attention and talk about it to other users. Otherwise, you can look at some general listings in this thread. #10. Judging by your "collection" it seems you've downloaded quite a lot of anime. And while it's not really a matter of your own personal ethics, I'll say that this site does have its fair share of legit viewers who like to buy the DVDs and support the industry. While it's okay to discuss fansubbed anime and such in general, I'd like to advise you not go about bragging about how much anime you've downloaded and practically stolen. It gives you a bad image, and though I'm just as guilty of downloading myself, 300GB is still a lot  . I'd be ashamed to admit that if I ever kept such an amount... (but that's another subject that's been beaten to death already).
Anyway, try to follow the rules as best as possible. If you have any questions about starting a thread or posting some kind of content that you think might be questionable, feel free to PM me (but not this weekend, I'll be at a convention). Oh, and if you want to find old topics using the Search option, please do not revive a thread that is more than a month old. If you'd like to discuss it anyway, you can just start a new subject about it. Thanks and enjoy your stay. |
