I previosuly posted this thread here, but since there's no automatic linking from the forum profile to My Anime public list (it sucks), some smart guy thought that it was better to lock the thread than let me edit my post to add the links, so I'm forced to post again here.
Hi, I'm looking for a more anime to watch. Here's what I have so far: Seen some Seen all I would like to find a web site that lists anime by category or have someone advise me in what to watch. Here are my favorites : Akira: I dream to have such incredible power and evily laugh about it. I also like the anime's hyper violence. Appleseed: I sure would like to have a powerful exoskeleton! Basilisk: It's all about who will be last and seeing all the ones you like dying one by one. Cowboy Bebop: Flying my spaceship through the city, yay! Dragon Ball: Insane power, gwahahaha, and so fun. Escaflowne: Very similar to NGE but with better spirit. Fist of the North Star: In 3 seconds you're dead, what an ability man! Fooly Cooly: That one is just crazy! Fullmetal Alchemist: I wouldn't let kids watch it, some parts are disgusting/revolting. Lots of suspense, lots of absurdities. Ghost in the Shell : A masterpiece. The human mind finally digitalized. Gunnm: I dream to have Ido's daily job and build robots. Also, I obviously fell in love with Gally. Laputa: Castle in the Sky: Whenever there is kids' love, it touches my heart. Naruto: Baka! Yeah, he's pretty stupid in the choices he makes. Normally he would die because of it, but he just doesn't because he's the hero. Too many absurdities, though it's fun and suspenseful. Nausicaa: Power of love. Neon Genesis Evangelion: Cool humanoids, big infrastructures etc, but very sick story, everyone dies. Ninja Scroll: Jubei, hah, what a hero, but lonely. Samurai Champloo: Who is the best of both, and who is the sunflower samurai? The Big O: Is this city part of an ET experiment? Hmm... Zone Of the Enders: So much fun and love. As you can see, I'm mostly interested in samurai, ninja, shounen, mecha, outer space, or other kinds of science fiction. With all the Miyazaki movies you've seen and how you seem to like action and sword fights ect. I'm surprised to not see Princess Mononoke on your list. My favorite Miyazaki film. Has all the makings of a masterpiece. With your preferences, I'm pretty sure that you'll love the film.

I did because you didn't follow the guidelines. If you were going to add more stuff, you should've said something like "I'm running short on time, so I'll edit this later." If you had a problem with my locking it, then you could've sent me a PM to work something out. Otherwise, don't come on here and with your smart-ass attitude thinking you know how things work when you've only been a member for 4 days.

I agree. Although, it doesn't seem like it, Tony is trying to help you, smugly though. First you might want to go here 1.) I would reccomend you watch Chrno Crusade. It's my favorite  . You might like it, and u might not. Some people think the plot and characters are underdeveloped, while others, like me, think its an incredible series.
2.) Ruroni Kenshin is also a good pick, just read the comments from the link. 3.) Bleach, is another good chocie seeing as you enjoy Naruto and FMA. They are kind of related, as Naruto is towards kids, while FMA is more adult, and Bleach is somewhere inbetween leaned more towards FMA. Oddly I just saw a Naruto toy commercial and made me ashamed I still watch Naruto...  . It has the basic setup of FMA and Naruto. A main character that has abilities that stand out from everyone else. He gains stronger through hard work, and some luck.
4.) Although I have never seen it, Getbackers is supposed to be a great anime. 5.) Your also, I guess, into romance so you might want to check out Love Hina, and/or Negima. I found that these 2 animes were exceptional. Lots of humor + your dose of romance. I can't really describe why I liked it, so maybe someone else who liked this series can. Oh, amazingly 2 reccomendation threads in one day, without being locked!!! I think a revolution is coming.... [/url]

Then why haven't you called DYFS yet? I'm sure they'll gladly help you out. Why don't you try out Bleach? It's got your Shonen swordfighting action, and the story isn't dull enough to reduce your mentality to that of a 5 year-old. It's one of my favorites, too. It'll be premiering on Adult Swim on September 9th, so be sure to check it out. |

Doesn't mean that I wouldn't follow them to get what I want. In fact I just did - hah. Locking it because I didn't follow the guideline leaves me no chance to actualy follow them, are you even aware of that ? duh. And again, no I don't have to ask you to unlock because you don't have to lock in the first place in that sepcific case.
I thought that in my profile on the forum there would be a link to my list, but seems I expected too much.
What I know is how things should work. - Threads shouldn't be locked up if a mistake is done because it prevents the mistake from being corrected. - Members shouldn't have to post links to their public list, it should be automatic. - Members shouldn't have to go through 2 posts to find out how to make a list public. |

I'm sorry if anyone thinks this is backseat modding or w/e, but if you don't like how things are run, then don't post. It is not as though forums needs to cater to your needs when you join. Locking up is definitely not the best way to help. Try harder Tony.
I saw the first 10 episodes. I find it quite boring, and combat are just not amazing. I'll have a look at the rest, thanks.

Actually I believe this is one of the forums, that are actually ran well.... Also, its if you don't like a car, go to another dealership/company  .
I thought that would mean romance, but anyway Love Hina and Negima are things that seem like you would hate, think is childish, girlish, or watever. However, I gurantee you around 90% that you'll like it. |
