I was loading the homepage and next to the stories in orange letters were edit/del and other stuff? I assume that's not suppose to be there...?

You weren't the only one who experienced this. From what I can tell, there was a temporary glitch that caused anyone to view the main page as if they had administrative control (and also as if the newest Answerman had never been put up). However the server was sufficiently taxed that nothing beyond the main page worked, including the edit and delete functions.
If they're still there, try a hard refresh, because they should be gone by now. |
