Heyas ANN folk! I'm not exactly new to anime, but I've had a break in the past 2 years from it due to life busting my ass. I haven't watched that many series either compared to your average otaku (I think I stopped around 100ish) and I used to stay away from hentai.
Life kinda bounced me into the BDSM lifestyle a year ago, and I've kept wondering if there are any anime series mainly (or manga, though this isn't exactly the manga forum section) that feature BDSM of any kind, from mild to extreme, from straight to yaoi/yuri. Thanks! |

I am not really experienced in the topic, but the series that comes to mind is C³ (C³ - Cube×Cursed×Curious). You have a living torture machine, and one character. The Severing Crime Edge has loads of fetishes. And I can think of MM for a masochist/sadist thing, though that may be the wrong thing, sorry if I misunderstand.

Off the top of my head there's the Ai no Kusabi and Okane Ga Nai OVAs, both yaoi. I don't especifically remember if they include BDSM, but I'm pretty sure they use some similar themes. Though tbh, I don't think either of them is particularly good, but you can check them out if you're into Domination-type relationships

Check out Bakuretsu Hunters, both the manga and anime adaptations (which include the TV series and the OVA). I found it a fun, guilty pleasure series I think you might enjoy.

This one is basically a recommendation thread, which we don't normally allow, but this is a topic we don't have an established thread or genre search option for, so I'll allow it.

I wasn't going to respond to this thread since it was clearly a recommendation thing, but if Key says it's okay...
...I haven't watched it myself (yet), but Ghost Talker's Daydream is a 4-eppie non-hentai OVA where the lead character works in an S&M club. The OVA is based on a manga of the same name. |

Hmmm. I can't really say I am that familiar with this fetish but you didn't specify how much of it needs to be in the show or what specific aspect you are looking for. Is it the bondage fetish gear or the sub-dom relationship? Consensual or Forced? Violent or Not? Played for laughs or dramatic or serious or romantic?

I would recommend this one as the only 1 I know that properly centers around BDSM but isn't hentai. There's 1 OVA, the original manga series, a spin off manga series and 2 Live Action films. I would say though that the anime of the weakest part of the franchise. |

Believe Rin: Daughters of Mnemosyne would be among titles with a BDSM element considering there are a number of scenes in the series that involve bondage, sadomasochism and dominant/ submissive positions, much of which is special thanks to spoiler[main baddie Apos' rather twisted ways of handling immortals he has enslaved.]

I have seen that one, and it's a decent show, although the protagonist's dominatrix day job doesn't really get much focus. |
