I didn't like Neon Alley that much, unfortunately...

I tried the 30 day trial that came with my Naruto Storm 3, and deleted the app after a few days.

It's more or less an anime TV Channel, in place of commercials are commercials for their english dub shows and random trivia.

I was hoping it would be Crunchyroll but with English dub only anime, not a glorified television channel.

Sucks too that I work and attend college, so the shows I did want to watch are never on by the time I get home.

Jason Griffith for Jin huh? Can't say I would have ever seen that coming, much less Grant George for Koga. Can't say I know this Sophie Roberts, and looking at her profile, she's relatively new but everything she's done has been an important 'bolded' role. So...hmm.

Not really sure what to think of this. Hopefully it gets a decent dub to keep me somewhat invested in this at least, given what I've heard they did with the anime compared to the manga.

Sophie Roberts is actually a pseudonym for Michelle Ruff.

Also, I don't know if this is a Bang Zoom! or Studiopolis dub....then again, I'm betting on the latter since I heard nothing about Zetman from Bang Zoom!

Ohhh, all right. Thanks! Now I know more what to expect from that casting.

I still want to know if any of the Neon Alley dubs will be put out on DVD? I've been holding off on purchasing Ao no Exorcist because I want the dub as well as the sub. (And I can't watch Neon Alley...I have not the gaming console nor the internet to stream video... -_-)

Well, if you're interested, Inuyasha: The Final Act & Tiger & Bunny (Set 1, Set 2 coming soon) is on DVD now and I'm pretty sure Nura: Rise of the Yokai Clan is coming soon to DVD as well. I think AoA could plan a DVD and/or Blu-ray release date since it finished airing on Neon Alley.

Considering Jason is the mix, I think its safe to assume that this a NYAV Post dub since Jason still resides in New York while both Michelle and Grant are in LA .

Oh, I checked, NYAV Post did do the dub to Zetman. Thanks.

Just because it's on Wikipedia, does it make it accurate? Wink

I'm pretty sure this is a Bang Zoom dub, and Jason made the trip out to California. That's what happened with Marc Diraison. It appears Bang Zoom is bringing some folks in from New York to participate in their productions.

Studiopolis pretty much always just does the "longer" shows for Viz. These shorter 12-episode shows are usually sent to Bang Zoom.

You do know that NYAV Post is a bi-coastal dubbing company, meaning they have a west coast branch? Plus, Wikipedia may not be the best source of info but I heard nothing else from Bang Zoom or Studiopolis and I doubt Bang Zoom would keep this show a secret, as they would have told anyone about it sooner.

Yes, I am aware of what NYAV Post does (I should hope so... it's my personal favorite studio). I'm just saying that with the casting of Marc Diraison in a Bang Zoom production, it can also be very likely that this is also a Bang Zoom dub. Michelle Ruff also uses her "Sophie Roberts" alias quite frequently for the non-union Bang Zoom productions, wheres I have never seen her in a NYAV dub at all, much less under an alias. I should point out that NYAV appears to be a union studio.
I'm not saying this is NOT a NYAV dub. I'm just saying that I feel it's most likely a Bang Zoom production. Although you do raise a good point about Bang Zoom not mentioning this on their Facebook fan page, when they usually do after such announcements.

BTW, does anyone else think it's weird that they only announced 3 cast members?

Someone apparently asked Neon Alley about the studio on their Facebook page, and they just said "If I tell you, I'd have to kill you.".

Knowing nothing about this show I clicked on this article out of curiosity.

A cast of only 3 people? Are there truly only 3 main characters?

Though I'm not sure about that promo picture: a naked man holding another, apparently unconscious, man in his arms, positioning key parts of the unconscious-seeming man's anatomy over his groin.

The naked dude doesn't appear to have a member, but the quasi-phallic building in the background still causes me to, ahem, cock an eyebrow at the nature of the picture.

Is the reason that I know so little about this show because I have no interest in a certain genre of shows or is the promo pic just misrepresenting the series?
