There should be a sticky that lists all of the syntax that you can use when posting messages. Not just the ten that are above the typing box.

Have you tried clicking the "BBCode" link under "Options" on the left?

That list does not contain all the syntax available
I know it doesn't because I have seen people use different types than those.

-- but thanks anyway

One on the top of my head is a way to set up URL so that when you click on it it doesn't open in a new window, but just takes you there with no pop-up.

When I checked it out the syntax didn't even have the word url in it, but on the forum it looked just like a normal Url like this here
Only it wouldn't open another window, it would just go to it.

I wish I had copied it down, but I figured I would find instructions, which I did, but it was not on there. By that time I forgot where I saw the post.

So I figure if there is one that is not listed, there is probably more. I even went to the programers the built the program for this forum, but it had the same info offered here.
If anyone knows some of these unknown syntax please post.

<a href="[insert target URL here]" target="_self">[insert target name here]</a>

Example: <a href="www.animenewsnetwork.com/" target="_self">Anime News Network</a>

Go find some basic HTML tutorials on the web.
