I was excited until I learned this will essentially be a spin-off.

I don't know how I feel now.

Still erring on excited.

After the second season tanked in terms of home video sales I'm surprised to see this get a 3rd season. The merchandise must be doing quite well.

They also had the two Alternative OVAs post-season 2 (Bringing it up to three).

I figured " will advance the franchise into a new stage" meant they were making the show more like the Alternatives, until I read "with new characters".
