With them around, I wonder if AX'll have to put a limit on the number of passes like what happened at Otakon.

Not likely. High level Guest of Honor or not, even I'd have trouble seeing AX getting say 20-25k extra attendees because of CLAMP alone. The thought is based on 33K attendees at last AX, including their staffers, and assuming that without CLAMP, AX's nominal growth probably would've made AX2006 get around 40-45k attendees. If AX managed to get >65k attendees because CLAMP shows up, needless to say, staff is going to be in deep trouble. But it just doesn't seem likely to me. That said, I could see an extra 5-10k, so maybe 50-55k would be more likely. Not quite a double, but a substantial increase. |

jt: You have to take into consideration that CLAMP doesn't even do appearances in Japan, which means more than just people across the country, but people around the world who could show up at AX.

Will not happen this year. The thing to be wary about is being able to actually see them. 30k to 60k attendees, yet the Main Events hall seats 4k. Things may be interesting.

Awsome. OT for a bit but has anyone seen Cardcaptor Sakura on the Sundance channel? Just seems like a weird channel to have anime on.
