Some of my friends has been dying to see in theathers so maybe it's worth checking out. Too bad it's after spring break and it's on a monday.

So I contacted them, and they said that they're not sure they're hosting the event, and that I should contact whoever sent out the press release. Know who it is, Tempest?

Maybe the reason it is on a monday and after spring break, is so no drunk people will riot because the seats were full and couldn't get in. If you are a hardcore FF fan, you wouldn't want to miss what would probably be your only chance to see this movie in theatres.
The "Free" part disturbs me. It's L.A., I've never seen anything free in L.A. |

Free, but you probably have to pay for the parking . It's on sunset blvd, that area seem to have no free parking. If you ever go clubbing or bar hoppin down there in that area at night, parking is always like 10 dollar or more it seem. But parking at the cinerama dome is like 6 dollar max, i think. |

When I got the press release, it was mentioning:
I'm thinking they will have someone outside the theater giving all the tickets out, so they are trying to avoid giving the theater much info since the tickets are "not for sale". If I lived in LA, I wish I could go for it. but Alas, I don't. SquareEnix isn't really giving any other information about it other than what was in the Press Release, since maybe they don't want extra attention. SquareEnix has updated their site with a FORMAL press release with the same information released in the email: http://www.square-enix.com/na/news/2006/0324/ |

Weird...the press release is most definitely on Square Enix's site, as zyphbear linked above. |

Still cheaper than their tickets.
There are clubs on Sunset?! I thought that area just had crackhouses and meth labs. zyph: I wonder if I'll still be able to get a ticket, if I'm even two hours early... JMays: They gave me the same bs during AFI regarding SPL, so maybe their lackeys are just total a-holes. |

Sadly, same here. Up in NorCal... Though we did get the DBZ movie so I can't complain. Probably would help if I actually finished FF7 first. If I did and I was such a fan, I probably would attempt to make it down there to see the movie. |

FF7AC seem a lot more enjoyable if you acctually played the game and love it. I've known several people that moan and groan about this movie and expect it to be some kind of epic unforgettable storyline yet they found themself lost and confuse most of the time. Jenova?
And sony would have cash in big time if they remake FF7 with better graphic. Many people want to play it but the graphic is kind out of outdated. If Wild Arms got a remake, I think FF 6, 7, or 8 should get one too on the PS3.
By day it is . By night, the prosititute cross-dresser work the street. BTW, The cross street is Ivar and Vine. Last edited by darkhunter on Mon Mar 27, 2006 2:11 am; edited 3 times in total |

Isn't the population of L.A. OR N.Y. greater than the whole state of Delaware? I live in Central Colifornia, EVERYTHING is 4 to 5 hours away and I wouldn't mind making the trip, but It would be impossible to secure a seat so i don't think i will be attending this event. I have family down there, all Mexicans have family in L.A., so I'll ask one of them to see if they can "reserve" me a seat. |

Ah, so their trying to stave off any comparisons to another FF property that failed hard with a theatrical release.
For god sakes, just release the damn DVD already. If it weren't for the whining fanboys compaining which FF game sucks hardest/which FF characters sucks hardest/which FF game is superior/, I wouldn't be interested in this release. |
