Lol, a little late to the party?
http://www.capsulecomputers.com.au/2012/10/reborn-manga-to-end-on-december-12th/ Capsule broke this news more than a week ago. ANN is really getting slow with news these days... I think it's cause they don't research and instead just leech off other news sites. |

Akira Amano is a she, not a he...

Capsule mistranslated the reference from Manga News. Manga News had written last week that Reborn would end on November 12 or November 19, based on two new manga series starting in the following weeks. Capsule first wrote that Reborn would end December 12, but then changed that to November 12. Last week, however, neither Manga News nor anyone else knew when (or in which issue) that the manga would end. |

Nikkei Entertainment magazine listed Akira Amano's gender as "unknown" last year. |

http://myanimelist.net/people/1907/Akira_Amano and plenty of other sources say she's female.

This matter came up last year also when Nikkei Entertainment posted its manga feature. Many English-language sites list Akira Amano as female without a primary source, but Japanese sources make a point of not listing Amano's gender. |

Hope it ends well, I'm hundreds of chapters behind and enjoying it enough even if the comedy is taking a backseat.

Hopefully there will be another anime to cover the rest of the manga.

I kind of saw it coming. The last arc really helped to develop Tsuna.

I hope they finish the anime off then, maybe like InuYasha style.

At least it ended at a good spot. Dragging it on just for the sake of its popularity is always a bad move if the story reached a point where continuing would just make it look like a half-assed job. Prime example: Bleach.

Oh didn't know it was gonna end . I haven't caught up with the manga in a while. Hopefully an anime will be made to follow the rest

Honestly saw this coming a long time ago. Every important plot point was satisfactorily solved or answered during the last arc, I'm glad she decided to finish it rather than stretch it forever.
That being said the last three "conclusion" chapters spoiler[were stupid beyond words and the manga could've finished three weeks ago without losing anything, because the finale didn't add anything to it.] |

Now if only Viz gets their heads out of their own ass and starts releasing the series again.

Sucks, despite it not being as good as it was in it's earlier days, imo it was still better than most of the stuff Japan was putting out at the moment.
Can't do that, Viz needs as much space as it can for Naruto and Bleach volumes. Heck I'm still surprised this is one of the few shonen jump series not to have it's anime licensed in the west. Anime series like Rosario+Vampire To Love Ru got to the US before Reborn. Let that sink in. |
