I sense a fraud!
Hello Kitty was born in London, England (it's on her official bio - look it up) and thus ineligible to run for the highest office of the land!

However it has been noticed that the Hello Kitty Party has been gaining strength in the UK, just under the Monster Raving Luney Party.

Where's the birth certificate?
Also, I must know where she stands on the important issues.
Also, is Forever 21 and it's new line of "wearable clothing" financing her campaign finances?

So,someone tried to get Hello Kitty elected to the Presidency. Not terribly surprising. For many years,"Mad Magazine" has run it's mascot character Alfred E. Neuman for President so it doesn't surprise me that someone would do the same with Hello Kitty. I just hope someone told Sanrio this. This country has seen strange candidacies before. Heck, they've even had our own cartoon characters run for President. A popular Japanese character running for the office is no big shocker for me.

Uh, gee. The smart thing to do would have been to announce your campaign months before the election, not the day before.

To LUNI_TUNZ,
Yes,I did read the article this post came with. I just mentioned that other cartoon characters have "run" for president besides Hello Kitty. As I've said before,we've seen some odd characters "run" for president, including cartoon characters. I've seen this ever since I was a kid. So again,I'm not completely surprised at this.
Signed,
