In a way, Dance in the Vampire Bund is a fitting story to cross over with this version of Sherlock Holmes, as both star cute blond girls in roles not normally expected of them (vampire lord and a detective respectively).

This is a series that is almost laser-targeted to some of my weak spots, and I was guaranteed to love it from that alone, the fact that it was good besides that was just icing on the cake. I can not stop proclaiming the amount of love I feel towards this series.

I would suggest that "Christie" owes more to Conan-Doyle's contemporary, Agatha Christie.

I originally bought this to satisfy my kid detective fix in between CASE CLOSED volumes, and ended up enjoying it an lot, despite being unfamiliar with the original Holmes stories. I love the Japanese title, but the English re-title makes more sense.

My mother really likes Sherlock Holmes, but I don't know how she would feel about this manga. To be honest,I don't know if she'd even like it or not.

I got really wrapped up in Holmes back in high school and am enjoying this fresh take on the stories. I especially appreciate the mentioned resemblance to Jeremy Brett. This should be a fun anime to watch if it ever gets adapted.
