I'm just happy that Viz is still using the Ocean Group, unlike Funimation who has a habit of switching away from them.

I think viz is useing this Neon Alley stream joke as a way to hold back good shows from hiting DVD/BD. Its nice to see Inuyasha the final is finally comeing out but viz has so much stuff they have yet to announce for a DVD/BD. But are dubing for Neon Alley Rolling Eyes if Neon Alley was for more then the Ps3 it be fine but the way viz is doing things just bugs me. Anyway sorry to go off topic cant wait to get the BDs of this show!!!!!

Actually, Viz said that ALL the shows they're dubbing for Neon alley would be released on DVD. They didn't say when, but they said it would happen.

One problem, Moneca Stori who voice Kagome didn't reprise her role so I don't see how that any different. As I recall, when Funimation dub Evangelion movie, they brought most of the dub cast back (with some exception).

Not to mention replacing David Kaye with Michael Daingerfield. Then again, I'm not too against that. It's freaking Inferno, after all.

And Kira actually does sound like Moneca. I've listened to a few roles that's she done and they sound pretty similar to be honest.

The fact that Kagome and Sesshomaru will not be reprising their roles will bother a good part of the fandom. Inuyasha's one of the longest running shows in dubbed anime, and how much it's been reran has made it a classic here in America. I know it already does me, considering Kagome's new VA is a nobody and that I had already been impressed with Kaye's work as Sesshomaru that I'm not so open-minded about a replacement for him.

Finally at last, we're getting close to a R1 DVD release of Inu Yasha: Final Act, and here's hoping that Canada's YTV (or any other Canadian T.V. network like SPACE: The Imagination Station) will air it since it's been long since Inu Yahsa aired on Canadian T.V..

This is different because they are still going through Ocean to do it, and more then likely are still being professional about it, as opposed to FUNimation who treats their voice actors like slaves, makes returning cast members come out to Texas to dub for same dirt pay they pay in house actors or tells them "up yours" (In the case of Amanda Winn Lee on Eva) or merely dubs the show without them when the voice actors ask for decent pay because professional workers should be paid for being professionals (Every non-returner in Badlands Rumble, and probably every actor they've not gotten back) or better yet, they get a voice actor back who played a role, but said "Nah, we want to put our own actor over" (Gregg Ayres who last played Kaworu in Eva, then ends up as Kensuke)

So yea, lol it's quite a bit different, I would like to hear why, because regardless it sucks, but it certainly helps when you know it's not the company who's dubbing it is rubbing salt in your wounds and expects you to buy it.

I see, but then again when Namco Bandai dubbed Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3, I found out David Kaye didn't reprise his role as Treize for those game despite him voicing the character for Gundam Wing and also voicing other characters in the game. But I do agree with you on what you said, although I do respect Funimation, I don't really understand with the cast change. They were able to get the cast of Slayers to reprise their role for the new Slayer anime, but yet they couldn't get the dub cast of Shakugan no Shana to reprise their role.

Just a minor correction.

David. A. Kaye is NOT David Kaye.

David Kaye did Megatron in Beast Wars. He lives in L.A. now. Sesshomaru is being dubbed by the same VA that replaced him in DWG3 as Treize.

David A. Kaye did Lichty in Gundam 00 and Uso in DWG.

Oh, I didn't know that. Is there a way I can get a picture of that other David Kaye. Just to make sure.
