NEWS: Digital Manga's Project-H Imprint Adds 20 New Adult Manga Volumes

Haven't read the other two titles you mentioned.

Unlike hentai anime, Japanese fans buying western releases is far less likely, we don't have soft-typesetting on paper, yet. Even the decensoring doesn't mean as much when it's cleaned up and redrawn instead of just being given a blank and uncensored page. Unless someone with more knowledge can lay it on better, the decensoring aspect is the same as any other editing job when it comes it redrawing behind background text or SFX. So you're not getting "the real deal" as the artist intended like you do with hentai anime, where the licensees receive the raw un-mosaiced video.

I wonder why hentai manga isn't bigger in the states, despite scanlations and Japanese fears, there must still be a decent market for it, even at those prices. If anything it's even bigger and healthier now due to all of the scanlation groups that made some of those titles known in the first place. The problem must have just been poor selection and really old stuff on the market, hentai's evolved and moved on now, even among the serialized professional stuff.

I would love to see ANN report on hentai related acquisitions more often.

Looks like lots of hentai and big ugly breasts I want at least one that's a gender bender or has cute crossdressing boys. Well if there are gender bender or trap manga out there that have been published, I can't tell just by the title, unless it's one I recognized from lists at scanlation sites.

Please Digital Manga, more crossdressing or gender swap manga. I will buy them.

As it happens, Project-H recently released just such a book, titled My Cute Crossdresser. It's a bit of an odd choice for a "hentai" line, not because of the subject matter, but because it simply isn't very explicit: no outright nudity or sex, just a lot of cute crossdressers (truth in advertising in the title, there), innuendo, kissing, blushing cheeks, and guilty wet dreams. Don't get me wrong, it's very good, just not very porny.

I'd still encourage you and any others interested in this genre to check it out, though. Project-H has said they plan to publish more otokonoko titles in the future (though unfortunately none were included in this particular batch of licenses), and strong sales of My Cute Crossdresser could only encourage that.

When I research gender bender and otokonoko titles that I am interested in from scanlation sites because they are a resource on which titles are available (and to "sample" ones that seem interesting), I usually have to click the "for mature readers link." So since a lot of titles have that (not all but probably the majority), I would assume if they were released in English that they would be categorized under hentai. Not necessarily because there is explicit nudity, but because of the subject material.

Certain publishers tend to give things that don't fit within a heteronormative "cubby hole" a higher than needed age rating. I don't like the fact that this happens, but at least I know that if I'm looking for crossdressing/gender bender ecchi titles, I can narrow it down by searching in the hentai/ecchi category. None of the legit online manga sites I know of currently have otokonoko/gender bender as a subset of their seinen categories. They need to do that if they expect these types of titles are going to sell.
