And here I thought Please Twins was the definitive example of the "long lost twins who were once seperated but came together to live under the same roof during high school and who end up developing romantic feelings for each other" genre.

Come to think of it, I didn't even know it was genre.

In all seriousness, I've heard from my kanji-reading friends that this is an "above-average" (whatever that means) series if you don't mind incest-type stuff.

The problem could have been avoided if FireChick had simply used "I've" instead of "We've".

I don't recall the anime community electing a representative to speak for them on these matters. Smile

I am not going to be so quick to judge this to be an "incest anime". It wouldn't be the first time that someone slapped that label on an anime as soon as they read the blurb announcing it, only for it to turn out to be wrong.

Well, I suppose, for those of us who haven't read the novels, we can only wait and see how this series will do. Just mentioned it to a siscon friend of mine, and he was pretty darned eager about it, saying that he was going to look for fansubs - when the actual series has yet to be broadcast!

On another note, I do recall that the last time I went to the Taipei International Book Fair (held at the World Trade Convention Center), there were plenty of little-sister-themed merchandise and series laying around the stalls. There were a few series whose selling points I couldn't really comprehend, other than the fact that they involve little sisters (e.g., Boku no imouto ga kanji ga yomeru (My Little Sister Can Read Kanji)), so I guess it wouldn't be too far from the truth if the anime industry were described as having some kind of obsession with little sisters at the moment.
