I only watched 20 mins of the first movie. The movie would look awesome as cut scenes for a video game but all the moments were really stiff. Everyone had a beautiful face that look liked they had way too much Botox because their facial expressions hardly changed.

Watched RE: Degeneration for the first time a three weeks ago or so. Thought it wasn't too bad. I'm interested to see how Damnation turned out. And if there's a N.A. BD release with English dub, I'd probably pick it up.

At least Degeneration was ages better than the current RE movies, save for maybe the first one. Now it's pretty much Mary Sue Trophy Wife shagfests. |

Ah, finally~
I remember reading that they were planning on making a second one of these probably about 2 years ago, and I was starting to wonder if it had been canceled. Nice to see it's still coming out. I personally liked the first one. But of course, I bought and watched it back as soon as it came out, so the CG looked fine at the time. Watching it now, yeah, it would definitely look stiff, considering it's 3 1/2 years old. |
