Maybe ADV will finally finish translating it...
Then again, probably not. ><

Is this movie actually out, or has it not been released yet? I'd love to get a copy of this, or download it if I can't find it in stores anywhere.

I just sent an e-mail to ADV complaining about their erratic release schedule with their Manga.
All I hear from their panels is that the market is saturated so they are pacing their releases...what a crock. ADV needs to grow somes 'huevos' with their Manga venture (instead of licensing good titles and keeping them from people).

Because the title doesn't bring in revenue. And when a title doesn't bring in revenue, it's bad for business. Fans tend to never look beyond their own shelfish reasoning.

You got some sales numbers on this or something?
It was popular enough in Japan to get it's own live action rendition so I don't think it's a case of "crappy story, crappy sales".
Besides, I'm talking about their overall Manga release schedule. I somehow doubt all their manga was selling poorly.

Hagakure had his facts right. The market became oversaturated in 2004, and lesser titles (such as this one) weren't selling the kinds of quantity needed to make a profit on sales. ADV and several other companies cited these issues when explaining that they would be slowing down their release schedules. As you may or may not know, ADV had to lay off a large portion of their manga division earlier this year.

I doubt he does, but I do. Unfortunately the nature of Bookscan is that you aren't allowed to share the sales figures with anyone who isn't paying $30,000 a year to have access to them. You're only allowed to say things like , "lesser titles (such as this one) weren't selling the kinds of quantity needed to make a profit on sales."
