Good god you read my mind, mate. Viz, listen up: Re-print this series asap and YOU CAN HAVE MY MONEY. How sweet a deal is that, huh? |

You can have my money too! I loved reading this manga, it was at my local library. Its my #2 compared to the Nausicca of the Valley of the Wind manga, soooo much better than the film! |

One would think that the Eva manga would garner enough consistent sales to sustain another print run for some of those volumes, especially given the movies coming out here. But what do we know? |

Crunchy Roll's article was confusingly worded. I really hope they'll fix it. To cover my bases (I made a news post on the Evageeks front page but I'll update it accordingly), I contacted both Minna no Eva fan blog as well as Crunchy Roll. Here's the reply from MinnaNoEva Fan (I haven't heard anything yet from Crunchy Roll):
And IIRC, Carl Horn isn't sure if the Manga will be re-printed. Personally, I wouldn't complain if it would be, English Volume 9 is so rare! |

There may not be print versions available, but remember that Viz is re-releasing the series digitally on vizmanga.com & on their iOS apps.

Just want to say: -Don't like the "selling per chapter" model -Like the contain but whatever 90 chapters? ($90) vs 14 volumes? ($70) |

Okay, so from what conclusions I can draw. After the Viz print of Volume 12 there were a few more chapters released in Japan.
These chapters will make up Volume 13 BUT not enough have been released yet. Around Chapter 90 is right around the point Komm Susser Todd plays and TANG is involved. So I can't see how this series is going to go beyond 15 volumes tops, depending on how Sadamoto is going to handle the trippier parts of End of Evangelion as well as the actual ending. O-chan |

Sadamoto stated in an interview that Volume 13 would be the final volume: http://forum.evageeks.org/post/52413/MANGA-NGE-New-Manga-Stage-Thread/?#52413 But I honestly think Volume 14 will be the last, unless Sadamoto decides to make Volume 13 really thick with extra Stages (chapters). Already 7 stages (84 through 90) were printed in Young Ace (like I mentioned here http://www.evageeks.org/2012/02/sadamotos-manga-at-final-volume-13/ ), most Volumes of the Manga have 6 or 7 stages, a few were 8 stages long. |

PLEASE!!! Unlike the other series they have that are ongoing with older volumes that go OOP, you'd think this one would be one they would reprint a few times! Maybe when the next volume hits? I can't BUY any of the new ones either since I'm missing the hard to find ones, and I sort of like reading my books in order... |

I've been keeping up with the latest chapters, and I also can't see how Sadamoto could wrap the whole thing up with volume 13, even if it's extra-sized. I think there will be at least another volume covering the trippy portion of End of Eva.
As for Sadamoto's previous statement that the manga would last 13 volumes, it's quite likely that his plans have changed since 2006, when he gave that interview. |

Oh man, this series brings back memories of reading it years ago. I'll definitely pick it up.
