That animation is looking pretty slick and the mecha design is both adequate and consistent with what existed back when the Geass TV series was starting out. So far, so good. As near as I can tell this is a serious project. I think folks should at least try it with an open mind even if you disliked or never cared about the original show.

We'll see what happens when it's out for real, though...

As far as the first actual trailer and the recent cast announcements are concerned, I'm quite satisfied with how this project is shaping up myself. The CG mecha look relatively good in motion and the designs are also acceptable, though I would have certainly preferred traditional animation all the way.

I have barely any idea why any of that was happening, but be damned if it didn't look cool. I have lukewarm and uneven feelings about Code Geass, but this certainly seems like it might be entertaining.

I really liked the jazz score for this video. I hope that the series has some more of that.

Reminiscent of the first episode of the first season of Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion. On the side, did anyone else notice the Tamaki character parallel?

The only thing I'm really enjoying about this is that the setting seems to be the Euro Universe, if it even still existed at the end of R2. (Assuming this takes place afterwards.)

Did the creators of the OVA think Jazz came from France? I don't think I have ever seen a trailer with more ill fitting music.

Personally, I don't care if the music isn't used well in a 90 second trailer as long as it's better placed within the show itself.

Finally here, so I don't have the finish the first 2 series, because of the new plot and characters. I do know what happens in the 2 first series, I hate to spoil things for myself...

It definitely does look interesting to me and I'll check it out when its released. More information on what it's actually going to be about would be nice though, since for me the most important thing is going to be an interesting story.

Knowing it will looks nice is a plus though.

That looked pretty cool, but the quality of the Youtube video wasn't so hot. Confused

Loved original code geass even if R2 did drop the ball a little bit imho. Really excited for this, I think the universe still has plenty of awesome to be wrung out of it!

What the hell is up with the music? Doesn't fit CG at all.
