Those who have a Iphone/Ipad/I touch now a game worth buying. I've bought this game for the original system (Super Nintendo) Playstation I, Nintendo DS and most recently on Wii ware.
This is easily one of the top three best JRPG games ever made in the 90's and you don't see games like this made anymore.
I know if I had any Apple product that could play this game, I'd surely buy it. I am not kidding when I say this is truly one of a kind game.

Well, I don't have an iAnything, so I won't be getting this, but it's always good to hear that my favorite video game is getting more attention! Don't worry about me, I got to enjoy it again when the DS port came out.

Yep been hearing about it. Here's the question: does the Iphone version improve over the other version that include the DS version?
Because I have a PS3, and Chrono Trigger is avaliable on PSN as a PS1 classics. I'm also planning to get an Iphone in the future, so do I get the PS1 classics version off the PSN stores or get the Iphone version of this game?

From the iTunes reviews, it seems the iOS game control is horrible.

Can't imagine how it wouldn't be terrible to control. Touchscreens are terrible for anything more advanced than Cut the Rope/Angry Birds because of the lack of tactile feedback.
I don't really see the point though when it's available on the DS.

I was gonna purchase this game...until I saw the file size....
587 MB! Holy smokes! That's larger than their port of Final Fantasy Tactics (460 MB).
Their port of Secret of Mana, which has roughly the same "horsepower" as CT, is a more reasonable 75 MB.
In the actual files, it looks like there's around 50 megs of game, and then around 500 megs of lossless audio. Ooops.
I wouldn't mind buying this if they compressed the audio files.
