I was wondering what you thought the best animated anime was. So far the best animation I have ever seen is in Steam Boy. Is the new Korean Movie "Wonderful Days" better animated than Steam Boy? How about Appleseed? Just tell me what anime you think has the best animation.

i assume he's talking about motion pictures. as of recently i'd say Steamboy, and Howl's Moving Castle, although both suffer from a serious lack of plot.

Neon Genesis Evangelion was a well-animated series, so is Full Metal Panic and Full Metal Alchemist.

Gankutsuou was one of the most stunning animated pieces of anime I have seen in recent memory. The colors didn't move around the characters but the characters moved around the colors! It's kind of hard to explain, the best way to understand it is to see it. GITHS2 was visually stunning as well, although I didn't really enjoy the movie.

So far the best I've seen would have to be Steamboy
Vampire Hunter D:Bloodlust also has some of the best animation I've ever seen,.Along with Akria,A Tree of Palme, and Evangelion.

I really think that Heat Guy J is the best animated series that I have seen. It's so visually pleasing. The colors are just so beautiful. One of my favourite parts is when they show the city of Judoh, especially at sunset. It looks wonderful.

I love the animation in The Wings of Honneamise. Looks stunning with the rocket lifting up. I really enjoyed Vampire Hunter D blood Lust, Princess Mononoke and Video Girl Ai.

I really have to say Wonderful Days.

It looks so amazing, and has the best soundtrack, I have ever heard in an anime.
