I actually wish they wouldn't give away the whole plot in the press release. If I remember correctly main character is originally introduced as a sort of troubleshooter, which was a bit misleading (purposely so), because story goes off in a totally different direction. I thoroughly enjoyed it, but it gets a bit weak towards the end and feels a bit rushed like it got axed and some plot points are quickly tied up. Still a decent series and one I definitely want to have on my shelf.

If it feels like it was rushed towards the end, it was. The series was indeed axed(makes me wonder why their calling it a "bestseller"). Sad since it was a whole lot better than some of the other action titles running in JUMP. Would have made a great anime.
Still I'll be more than happy to pick this series up.

Precisely my feelings. Psyren is one of my favorite series of all time, and it getting cancelled while other not as well-written series go on fuels my ranting of those series. One in particular. And yet for some reason I still read it. /addict
But I have been waiting for this series to come out in English for over a year now, and can't wait to get that volume in my hands.
Incidentally, ANN introduced me to Psyren, there was some random plug for it at the end of one of their columns a long while back. So good on ya for that.

I am looking forward to this one. I originally thought it was dated for April on Amazon, but then Blue Exorcist came out instead.
