I read the description for the manga here on ANN and all I could think was "Holy crap, it's spoiler[Touch!]" (a very prominent baseball manga)

I'm glad it's getting an anime. No other football series has made me this impatient since Captain Tgsubasa: ROAD to 2002. And here's hoping it's not a disappointment like the series mentioned above.

I have been wanting something like this to happen with this manga, I am glad it's getting an anime adaptation. I just hope it's a TV anime adaptation.

Fantastic news. Japan have become a really good soccer/football team, and there's been several awesome young players recently, among them Ryo Miyaichi, Takeshi Usami, Shinji Kagawa, Atsuto Uchida, etc. The Captain Tsubasa generation. Hopefully we'll see more manga and anime based on football pop up.
