Are these guys any good? I love American ska, mostly newer stuff, and more instrumental stuff (ala BOTAR, Streetlight Manifesto), but the old Jamaican dudes are OK. Bah, you all know what ska is, no?

These guys played here in Seattle not too long ago, and the crowd reaction was pretty positive from what I understand (I only read a review of the show). I'm afraid that's all I can offer, tho'...

Skapara is cool. I only heard of one of their songs, Kanariya Naku Sora, but it was good. Biography at: http://www.projectj.net/skapara.htm

I don't know too much about them (I've only heard the music that was in Incredible Crisis.. ) but my roommate is obsessed with ska, and she loves Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra.
