I just wish they would release a BD/DVD combo pack. But, I'll probably just get the BD. |

It's nice to see they're able to release it on Blu-ray even though it's DVD-only in Japan. I've already got the Japanese Limited Edition DVD but I'll be picking up this release too.

On a side-note, I wonder if Adult Swim will air this film? They aired the first two, but they didn't get high ratings... |

The first one did pretty respectably, from what I understand, scoring 336k 18-34 year-olds the first time it aired on September 5, 2009. Then the 2nd came out December 5, 2009, and sort of tanked, being watched by only 268k 18-34 year-olds. But those were aired at Midnight to lead-off the anime block and I really don't think [as] is willing to try that again. With new episodes of Bleach and Durarara!! still airing, 1 AM seems more right for Bleach movies, giving everything thereafter a 1-week break, and it's when we can expect them to give Bleach Movie 3 a spin, sometime in October. |
