| Gurren Lagann (TV) | Decent (dub), Good (sub) | Over-the-top, energetic fun and top-notch production values highlight the adventures of a boy coming to age in what is sure to become an anime classic. It does lag a bit, using technobabble which means very little, given it's attitude of screaming loudly to defeat logic, and its building absurdity gets tiring after a while, but it's well worth sticking with until the end. Not a favorite, but overall an enjoyable experience. |
